Observed 2026-09-15 on public NVIDIA AISimulate and AIConfigurator surfaces. Source and development direction had materially moved toward AISimulate. September 16 was a published target date, not an authority-transfer fact. No GitHub release was published at observation time. Status: watch.
Overview
Each authority surface has its own gate.
Planned successor identity is not source-development authority, artifact-publication authority, compatibility authority, production-recommendation authority or legacy-retirement authority. Compatibility parity is not empirical accuracy parity. Package and API migration cannot promote simulation-derived deployment recommendations without a declared evidence class and measured reality. No private NVIDIA material was accessed.

Stable artifact cutover, AIC retirement authority, and production recommendation authority.Those remain gated.
